Rod joined J. Robert Scott in May 2010. He is based in Hong Kong with responsibility for building the firm's Asia Pacific Insurance Practice as well as executing senior level assignments across the wider financial services spectrum.

Prior to joining J. Robert Scott, Rod was a Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International in Hong Kong where he was the Head of The Asia Pacific Insurance Practice whilst also executing senior level assignments in the banking sector. Previously he established and managed the Vietnam office of an Asia-wide executive search firm. Prior to his career in search Rod spent 25 years in the banking and insurance sectors, working extensively in senior international roles and predominantly across Asia for major global names, including a number of years at CEO level. His in-country living and working experience includes Bahrain, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong in addition to significant experience across the rest of the region.

Rod graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Cambridge.
