Michael joined J. Robert Scott in April 2010. His responsibilities as Director of Finance and Controller include managing the accounting, reporting, and operational finance needs for the global organization with a focus on continuous improvement.

Michael has spent the majority of his career in professional services, beginning on the client service side in the audit and business advisory practice of Arthur Andersen. Michael then joined The Boston Consulting Group, mainly focusing on enhancing the financial controls and operations for the company’s overseas offices before becoming the Controller at Veritude, a Fidelity owned staffing company. Michael was most recently the Controller at Audax Group, a prominent private equity firm based in Boston.

Michael is a double eagle, graduating from BC High and Boston College where he received his BS with a concentration in Accounting. Michael is also a CPA.

Michael and his wife Erinn live in the South End neighborhood of Boston, where they enjoy taking long walks; a must to burn off the calories from all the great restaurants that dot the neighborhood. They also love to travel and are always planning a new adventure. Michael supports all the Boston sports teams and is an avid golfer.
