Matthew Getman joined J. Robert Scott in 2004, and after joining the firm as a Researcher moved swiftly into the Candidate Development function. In this capacity, he is responsible for candidate generation and management, supervising research, and supporting client services and business development. His primary focus is on searches within the Financial Services and Life Sciences industries. In 2007, Matthew moved to Singapore to help build-out J. Robert Scott's Asia operations. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for TZ Medical and UBS Paine Webber.
Matthew received his B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University.
Matthew was born in Oslo, Norway and in his youth was a Washington state champion in the Javelin. Today he enjoys travel, digital photography, Sopranos reruns, and teaching his dog to hunt squirrels and tourists in Harvard Yard.
