Mark joined J. Robert Scott in 2010 as a principal in the firm’s Financial Services practice based in Hong Kong.

With over ten years experience in executive search in the Asia Pacific region, Mark’s focus is the development of new client relationships and execution of senior level executive search assignments in the region.
 
Since beginning his career with an Asian financial services search firm, Mark has conducted a wide range of searches in the asset management, insurance, global markets and investment banking sectors. Mark joined J. Robert Scott from Asia Carbon, a boutique financial services search firm.   Prior to that role he was a Client Partner in Korn/Ferry’s global financial markets sector with responsibility for originating and executing retained search assignments in Greater China and North Asia.
 
Earlier in his career Mark was with a major international search firm as the head of research for the Hong Kong and Singapore offices, responsible for recruiting, training and ensuring the quality of the company’s research product.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree of arts from University College, Dublin.

Originally from Glasgow, Mark’s home base for over thirty years has been Hong Kong. Married with two young sons, his spare time is spent enjoying the company of his family as well as participating in and, more frequently these days, watching sports.
