Kim was born in Oxford but grew up predominantly in the West Country with Bath becoming his home.
Kim is an avid sportsman, turning his hand to as many different games as possible. Highlights in his sporting career include captaining one of the junior England cricket sides and contesting a National Club cricket final at Lords.
