Janet joined J. Robert Scott in 2010 from Asia Carbon and is based in Shanghai.

Prior to Carbon, she was a Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International in Shanghai where she specialized in global private equity and real estate.  Before moving to search in 2004, she spent 8 years in the private equity sector in her role as General Manager of JAFCO International (HK) Ltd, a private-equity investment company related to the Nomura Group of Japan.  Prior to JAFCO, Janet spent 3 years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company’s Hong Kong office focusing on assignments for multinational corporations.

Born in Hong Kong, Janet obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Janet resides in Shanghai with her husband, Alan, her son, Jaime and her daughter, Kelly.
