Grace joined J. Robert Scott in 2010 to lead executive search assignments across the Technology sector in Europe and brings over 12 years’ experience at top tier Global executive search firms.
Most recently, Grace was a Partner and Co-Leader of the Global TMT Practice at Odgers and has extensive experience working at top tier firms CTPartners, Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates. Before executive search Grace held a fourteen year tenure at Towers Perrin and was a member of the firm’s European Board with responsibility for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector. Grace was the youngest individual in the firm’s history elected to Partner. Grace began her career at Mercedes Benz in Germany
Grace holds an MSc and BSc in Psychology from University College, London.
Grace has 4 children and enjoys skiing, tennis, reading and travelling in her spare time.
1. What would you say was your most challenging placement and why?
Most challenging placements are usually Founder CEO replacements due to the difficulty of the Founder to let go and the need to achieve agreement across the board.

The top attribute of J. Robert Scott is its commitment to world class research.
3. What international city do you find to be most interesting and why?
Mumbai, India as it is vibrant, diverse, colourful, alive and full of history.
4. What do you consider to be the hardest challenge in finding the right candidate for your clients?
The hardest challenge in finding the best candidate for clients is ensuring sufficient work is conducted up front to guarantee the search is properly thought through and that the best strategic solution has been reached.
5. What’s the last book you read and did you like it?
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson. The third book in the trilogy written by a Swedish author who is now dead. A very enjoyable international thriller with a most unusual female lead. Fast paced and full of twists and turns I would strongly recommend it.
