Boston, January 9, 2006 - J. ROBERT SCOTT NAMES BRUCE RYCHLIK MANAGING DIRECTOR OF LIFE SCIENCES


Boston, MA (January 9, 2006) -- J. Robert Scott (JRS), a full service retainer-based national executive search firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments Company, announced today the promotion of Bruce Rychlik to the position of managing director. In this expanded role, Rychlik will continue to focus on recruiting C-level leaders for life science companies as well as clients in the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries.

With more than fifteen years of executive search and recruiting experience, Rychlik is a leading recruiter in the life sciences industry. Most recently, he has served as an account manager, responsible for conducting and managing searches for business executives and scientific professionals at biopharmaceutical and medical device companies throughout the U.S. In addition to his domestic work, Rychlik has worked extensively on numerous international recruiting projects throughout Asia, Japan, and Europe. Previously, he has held several other key roles at J. Robert Scott including research associate, research manager and candidate developer.

Bruce earned an MBA from Boston University in 1997 and a BA in political science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Acton with his wife, Kristina and their two children, Anna and Alex.
