Hong Kong, June 23, 2010 - J. Robert Scott, a leading global retainer-based executive search firm, continues its expansion in the Asia Pacific region with the addition of Roderick Haire as a managing director in its financial services practice, based in Hong Kong. Recently, the firm also added six executive search professionals to its offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.

Haire is responsible for identifying and recruiting senior professionals for financial services and insurance companies across Asia Pacific.

Haire joins J. Robert Scott from Korn/Ferry’s Hong Kong office where he was a senior client partner and served as the head of the firm’s Asian Insurance Sector within its Global Financial Services Practice. Prior to that, he established the Vietnam office of a regional boutique executive search firm. Before his move to executive search, he led a distinguished career in the insurance industry, working at AIA as chief executive officer in Vietnam and Indonesia. Previously, he was chief executive officer and country manager of Indonesia for John Hancock and held other senior roles at additional insurance and financial services organizations. Haire holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Cambridge in England.
